Responsibility

  • Lead the research and development of new food products, from concept to commercialization.
  • Oversee quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with local and international food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, FDA).
  • Implement and monitor process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and marketing, to align R&D initiatives with business goals.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high-quality standards across all production facilities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for product specifications, testing protocols, and quality control procedures.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to drive continuous innovation.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality control practices, food safety protocols, and best manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D, quality assurance, or food safety within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record in product development, process optimization, and quality management systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and quality control software.
