Responsibility
- Design, develop, and test electronic circuits, PCBs, and embedded systems for audio and musical applications.
- Prototype and validate new hardware solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and Rolandâs quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate hardware and firmware for seamless product performance.
- Conduct rigorous testing and debugging to identify and resolve technical issues in electronic systems.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, materials, and components to enhance product innovation.
- Document technical specifications, schematics, and test reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transition from R&D to production.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing products and field issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in R&D, hardware design, or electronic product development.
- Strong proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout (using tools like Altium, KiCad, or Eagle), and analog/digital electronics.
- Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers (e.g., ARM, DSP), and firmware development (C/C++).
- Familiarity with audio electronics, signal processing, and analog/digital interfaces (e.g., ADC, DAC, I2C, SPI).
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI compliance, safety standards, and testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-precision engineering.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural, cross-functional team.
