Responsibility

  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes for new product introductions (NPI) and existing product lines.
  • Optimize production workflows using Lean Six Sigma, DFM (Design for Manufacturability), and automation to improve yield, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Supply Chain) to ensure seamless product launches and scalability.
  • Design and validate tooling, fixtures, and test systems to meet stringent quality and performance standards.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process capability studies (Cp/Cpk) and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
  • Stay abreast of emerging manufacturing technologies (e.g., Industry 4.0, IoT, AI-driven quality systems) and recommend adoption where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in electronics, semiconductor, or precision components.
  • Proven expertise in process optimization, root cause analysis, and problem-solving (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).
  • Strong proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD), MES systems, and data analysis tools (Python, SQL, or Power BI a plus).
  • Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) or equivalent quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
  • Experience with automation (robotics, PLC), additive manufacturing, or smart factory initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus but not required.
