Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize FPGA-based hardware solutions for semiconductor test and instrumentation systems.
- Implement high-speed digital interfaces (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, JESD204B) and signal processing algorithms on FPGA platforms.
- Collaborate with software and firmware teams to integrate FPGA designs with embedded systems and control applications.
- Perform verification and validation of FPGA designs using simulation tools (e.g., ModelSim, Vivado) and hardware testing.
- Optimize FPGA resource utilization, power consumption, and performance for real-time applications.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues in prototype and production systems.
- Stay updated with emerging FPGA technologies (e.g., Xilinx, Intel/Altera) and industry trends in semiconductor testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in FPGA design and development (Xilinx or Intel/Altera preferred).
- Proficiency in HDL languages (VHDL or Verilog) and FPGA development tools (Vivado, Quartus, ISE).
- Experience with high-speed digital design, timing closure, and signal integrity analysis.
- Familiarity with semiconductor test equipment (e.g., ATE, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of Python, C/C++, or Tcl for scripting and automation.
- Excellent communication skills in English; prior experience in international teams is advantageous.
