Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of quantity surveyors, ensuring accurate cost estimation and budget management.
- Oversee the preparation of tender documents, contracts, and cost plans for construction projects.
- Conduct regular cost analysis and financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to optimize project costs and timelines.
- Monitor project expenditures and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Negotiate with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
- Provide expert advice on procurement strategies and risk management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing costs for large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, tendering processes, and cost control techniques.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and industry standards in Indonesia.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
