Responsibility
- Conduct cost estimations, budget preparations, and financial feasibility studies for sports flooring projects.
- Prepare and analyze tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies to ensure competitive and transparent bidding processes.
- Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and provide regular cost reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with design teams to optimize material selection, ensuring durability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to negotiate terms, resolve disputes, and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards for sports flooring, including safety, accessibility, and environmental regulations.
- Perform site inspections to verify progress, quality, and adherence to specifications.
- Provide value engineering recommendations to enhance project outcomes without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on flooring, sports facilities, or similar construction projects.
- Proficient in cost estimation software (e.g., WinQS, Candy) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, tendering processes, and procurement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with sports flooring materials (e.g., vinyl, rubber, wood, synthetic turf) and installation techniques.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or quantity surveying (e.g., RICS) is a plus.
