Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
- Conduct tendering processes, including evaluating bids, negotiating with suppliers, and selecting cost-effective materials and services.
- Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and provide regular cost updates to stakeholders to prevent budget overruns.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize project designs for cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Develop and maintain contractual documentation, including contracts, change orders, and claims, ensuring legal and financial compliance.
- Perform risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies to minimize financial exposure.
- Utilize QS software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or Primavera) to streamline cost calculations and project tracking.
- Provide post-project analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve future estimating processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or construction financial management.
- Proficient in QS software (e.g., CostX, WinQS) and Microsoft Excel for advanced financial modeling.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, tendering processes, and local building regulations in Indonesia.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications with high attention to detail.
- Certification from a recognized body (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
