Responsibility
- Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for construction projects.
- Support the team in conducting material takeoffs and analyzing project specifications.
- Help in reviewing and comparing tender documents and contractor bids.
- Assist in monitoring project costs and tracking expenditures against budgets.
- Participate in site visits to verify measurements and progress for cost control purposes.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate cost reporting.
- Prepare and maintain cost databases and financial records for projects.
- Support in the preparation of progress reports and financial statements for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of construction cost estimation and quantity surveying principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with cost estimation software (e.g., WinQS, Candy) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
