Responsibility
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for interior fit-out projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
- Conduct material takeoffs and analyze specifications to determine project costs, including labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses.
- Negotiate and manage supplier and subcontractor contracts, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to project timelines.
- Monitor project expenditures and track cost variations, providing regular updates to stakeholders and recommending cost-saving measures where applicable.
- Collaborate with designers, architects, and project managers to review drawings, specifications, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for accuracy and feasibility.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks by identifying potential cost overruns and proposing proactive solutions.
- Prepare and submit tender documents, bids, and proposals for new interior fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify progress, quality of work, and adherence to budget and design specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on interior fit-out projects (residential, commercial, or hospitality).
- Proven expertise in cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration for interior construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, finishes, and interior design specifications relevant to high-end fit-outs.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, PlanSwift) and Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and reporting.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in Indonesia (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
