Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide financial insights to support project planning and decision-making.
- Manage contract administration, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Monitor project expenditures and track costs against budgets, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize project designs and material selections for cost efficiency.
- Perform value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Resolve contractual disputes and claims, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying and construction economics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a proven track record in tendering and cost management for construction projects.
- Strong proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., WinQS, Candy, or Primavera) and Microsoft Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and local regulations in Indonesia.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and digital quantity takeoff tools is advantageous.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
