Responsibility
- Perform accurate cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and cost planning for interior fit-out projects.
- Prepare and submit competitive tender documents, proposals, and quotation requests.
- Source, negotiate, and establish contractual agreements with sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Manage progress claims, variation orders (VOs), and final accounts assessment.
- Liaise regularly with clients, consultants, architects, and internal project teams to resolve commercial issues.
- Monitor project cash flows and prepare monthly cost control reports for management review.
- Conduct site visits and measurements to verify completed works and progress.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of proven quantity surveying experience, specifically within interior fit-out or renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of interior materials, construction methods, and local market rates in Singapore.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and cost estimation or AutoCAD software.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders.
- Meticulous, analytical, and capable of working independently under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with standard forms of contract (SIA, REDAS, or PSSCOC) is highly advantageous.
