Responsibility
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation for structural steel and industrial projects.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and verify work quantities against project specifications.
- Manage sub-contractor claims, progress payments, and variation orders in a timely manner.
- Analyze material costs, labor, and equipment requirements to optimize project profitability.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and site supervisors to ensure project requirements are met within budget.
- Maintain comprehensive records of project documentation and site measurements.
- Assist in the preparation of final accounts and project closure reports.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply; prior internship experience in construction is a plus.
- Strong numerical proficiency and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required for operational monitoring.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of construction software is an advantage.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia to interact effectively with stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work independently or within a team.
