Responsibility
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct site visits and measurements to verify project specifications and progress.
- Develop and review technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models in collaboration with architects and engineers.
- Negotiate with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and terms.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial reports to ensure cost control and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation for audits, client reports, and internal reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying and drafting, preferably in construction or real estate.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software and cost estimation tools (e.g., WinQS, Candy).
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for client and stakeholder interactions.
- Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and market practices is a plus.
- Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to ensuring accuracy in all deliverables.
