Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects.
- Negotiate and administer contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and verify measurements for billing purposes.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to optimize project costs and timelines.
- Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and recommend award decisions.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all contractual agreements.
- Provide financial and contractual advice to stakeholders to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, contract administration, or a similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction costing, contract law, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and practices in Indonesia is a plus.
- Certification from a recognized professional body (e.g., RICS) is advantageous.
