Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and ensure compliance with contracts.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure competitive pricing and terms.
- Monitor project expenditures and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value-engineering solutions.
- Review and approve contractor invoices, change orders, and variation claims.
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in all financial and contractual matters.
- Collaborate with project managers to mitigate risks and resolve disputes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costing techniques.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards in Indonesia.
- Certification or membership in a recognized professional body is a plus.
