Responsibility
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to procure materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and financial targets.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to address technical challenges and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and financial updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols on-site, promoting a culture of zero incidents.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP project management within the construction industry, preferably in commercial or hospitality sectors.
- Proven expertise in managing MEP installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting for large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of local and international building codes, standards, and best practices (e.g., NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC).
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills to manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and AutoCAD or BIM tools.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or MEP-specific credentials is highly desirable.
