Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide cost advice to clients and project teams.
- Manage procurement processes, including tendering, negotiation, and contract award.
- Monitor project costs and financial performance, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Prepare and submit progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve contractual and financial issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all project-related financial transactions.
- Provide regular reports on project costs, risks, and opportunities to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with local construction laws and contract standards.
- Certification or membership in a professional body (e.g., RICS) is a plus.
