Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure costs align with budgetary constraints.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and verify measurements for billing purposes.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure competitive pricing.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and financial forecasts for project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to optimize project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost management within the construction industry.
- Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
