Responsibility
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize shortages or excesses.
- Analyze item movement trends and generate reports to support demand planning and procurement strategies.
- Review and validate inventory reports for accuracy, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement teams to streamline supply chain operations.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower operational costs.
- Utilize data analytics tools to forecast demand and align inventory with production schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on inventory control best practices and system utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
