Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Repair or replace defective electrical components, including motors, control panels, wiring, and circuit breakers.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and maintenance records for all electrical work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize equipment downtime and implement corrective actions swiftly.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards (e.g., OSHA, local electrical codes) during all maintenance activities.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems or upgrades to existing equipment.
- Recommend improvements to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or production environments.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and PLC diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, megohmmeter).
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and industrial automation systems.
- Ability to work independently or in a team, with excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Willingness to work in shift patterns or on-call duties as required.
