Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Manage and monitor project budgets, tracking expenditures and forecasting financial outcomes.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable terms.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and verify measurements for billing purposes.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to optimize cost efficiency and resource allocation.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, financial statements, and final accounts.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert advice on cost-saving measures and value engineering opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably in large-scale projects.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards in Indonesia.
