Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure the best prices and terms.
- Manage contract administration, including variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to optimize project costs and timelines.
- Prepare detailed reports on project expenditures, financial forecasts, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Provide expert advice on cost-saving measures and value engineering opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and cost estimation tools.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and standards is a plus.
