Responsibility
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects.
- Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications, drawings, and contracts to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage and administer contracts, including negotiations, variations, and claims.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to optimize project delivery.
- Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and recommend award decisions.
- Maintain detailed records of project costs, progress, and financial performance.
- Provide regular financial updates and forecasts to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Fluency in English for business communication and documentation.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
