We are currently seeking a meticulous and highly motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in the North Region. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the financial success of our projects, ensuring that all construction costs are managed efficiently from inception to completion.
As our Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on cost management, contract administration, and project documentation. Responsibility
- Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and tender documentation.
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs and measurements from construction drawings.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and verify work completed for progress claims.
- Manage sub-contractor accounts, including the review and certification of payment claims and final accounts.
- Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contract variations and claims.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, specifications, and industry building standards.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and internal project teams.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry (fresh graduates with strong internships are encouraged to apply).
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel for cost tracking and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and numbers.
- Familiarity with standard construction contract forms (e.g., SIA, PSSCOC) is highly advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical specifications.
