Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a high-performing Quantity Surveying team, ensuring alignment with project goals and company standards.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tender documents, bills of quantities, and cost estimates for construction projects.
- Conduct contract administration, including negotiation, variation orders, and final account settlements.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to optimize resource allocation and risk management.
- Prepare and present financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost analyses to senior management.
- Resolve disputes and claims related to contractual and financial matters with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. RICS or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, JCT, etc.), cost estimation software, and industry best practices.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and client relationships effectively.
- Familiarity with Bali/Indonesia construction regulations and market conditions is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar).
