Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems to ensure compliance with ISO, customer, and regulatory standards.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action (CAPA) processes to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Monitor production processes, conduct audits, and perform statistical analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
- Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, and KPIs to senior management and stakeholders.
- Train and mentor staff on quality standards, best practices, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen) to enhance efficiency and product consistency.
- Ensure documentation (SOPs, work instructions, inspection plans) is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance, process engineering, or a similar role within manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar standards.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, 8D problem-solving, and lean manufacturing tools.
- Experience with auditing, inspection techniques, and metrology equipment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
- Certifications in Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) or Lean Manufacturing are a plus.
