Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and document defects, non-conformities, or deviations from specifications.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform regular audits of manufacturing processes to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Utilize measuring tools and testing equipment to verify product dimensions and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results and generate reports for management review.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on quality assurance best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Familiarity with ISO or other quality management systems is a plus.
