Responsibility
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with international standards and client specifications.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, packaging, or delivery issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance protocols for cross-border logistics, including documentation, testing procedures, and reporting systems.
- Collaborate with suppliers, warehouses, and transportation teams to identify and mitigate quality risks in the supply chain.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, return rates) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and guide staff on quality control best practices and regulatory requirements for international shipments.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and present findings to stakeholders for decision-making.
- Stay updated on industry regulations (e.g., ISO, customs compliance) and ensure adherence in all operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Quality Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality inspection, assurance, or control, preferably in manufacturing, transport, or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of international quality standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI) and cross-border compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements to reduce defects.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to handle customer complaints and collaborate with global teams.
- Proficiency in quality management software (e.g., SAP QM, Minitab) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are an advantage.
- Attention to detail, time-management skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
