Responsibility
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action plans for quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and prevention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing and logistics.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain adherence to quality management systems (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Train and mentor team members on quality best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee supplier quality assurance, ensuring raw materials and components meet specified standards.
- Prepare and present quality reports to stakeholders, highlighting trends and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering or management within manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, TS 16949, etc.) and process improvement methodologies.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving quality initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D) and software (e.g., Minitab, SAP QM).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
