Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of products, materials, and systems to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Perform detailed testing and measurements using specialized tools and equipment to verify product integrity and performance.
- Document and report quality issues, non-conformities, and deviations, providing clear and concise feedback to relevant teams.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities in accordance with company procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and reduce defects.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all quality control activities.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QC Technician or in a similar role within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards, methodologies, and tools.
- Proficiency in using inspection and testing equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
