Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate material forecasts based on production demand and historical data.
- Create and optimize production plans to ensure efficient material utilization and minimize waste.
- Monitor inventory levels and material consumption to prevent production line stoppages.
- Coordinate with suppliers, procurement teams, and production departments to ensure timely material availability.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Implement inventory control measures to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline material flow and improve delivery schedules.
- Prepare reports on material usage, inventory turnover, and supply chain performance for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and inventory optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with demand forecasting methods and supply chain best practices.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
