Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures to ensure product compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor production processes in real-time, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions to prevent defects.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues and propose sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to optimize workflows and reduce variability in manufacturing.
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to ISO 9001, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze quality data and KPIs to identify trends, recommend improvements, and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Train and mentor staff on quality standards, best practices, and the use of quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 5S).
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by conducting risk assessments and validating process capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably within the manufacturing, automotive, or electronics industries.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO 9001, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and 8D Problem Solving.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Experience conducting internal/external audits and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt/Black Belt certification is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
