Responsibility
- Operate prime movers safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to maintain a clean driving record.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety measures.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving prime movers or similar heavy vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and defensive driving techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks as required.
