Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes, materials, and finished products to identify defects or areas for improvement.
- Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and enhance product consistency.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality performance, non-conformance, and improvement initiatives for management review.
- Train and mentor staff on quality standards, best practices, and the use of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
- Ensure adherence to local and international quality regulations, including ISO standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO 9001, and other relevant industry standards.
- Proficiency in using quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with auditing, inspection techniques, and statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab) is a plus.
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) or Lean Manufacturing is highly advantageous.
