Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive inspection plans for aerospace components and assemblies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Conduct thorough quality audits and inspections to identify and address potential issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related challenges.
- Analyze quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on quality standards and best practices.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to enhance product quality and reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar standards.
- Proficiency in using quality tools and techniques, including statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations is a plus.
