Responsibility
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).
- Conduct thorough inspections and audits of manufacturing processes, materials, and finished products.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and enhance product performance.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, non-conformances, and root cause analyses.
- Train and mentor staff on quality assurance best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in supplier evaluations and ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing efficiency and product reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).
- Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and techniques (e.g., CMM, optical comparators, statistical process control).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys).
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) is a plus.
