Responsibility
- Implement and maintain AS9100 quality management systems to ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards.
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) to verify the conformity of new products and processes.
- Perform internal and external audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and drive proactive quality improvements.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Ensure documentation and record-keeping are accurate and up-to-date in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in the aerospace or precision manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 standards and quality management systems.
- Experience with First Article Inspections (FAI) and audit processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, CQA) is a plus.
