In this critical role, you will oversee incoming quality control (IQC) processes and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) testing to ensure all materials and components meet stringent industry standards before production. Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate Incoming Quality Control (IQC) inspections for raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Operate and maintain XRF (X-ray Fluorescence) equipment to analyze material composition and detect contaminants or deviations.
- Develop, implement, and enforce quality control protocols to achieve zero defect outflow in all deliveries.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve supplier performance.
- Generate detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation for traceability and audits.
- Train and mentor QC staff on best practices, testing procedures, and safety standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to defect rates, inspection turnaround times, and material rejection trends.
- Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address recurring quality issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in quality control, inspection, or testing within electronics manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with XRF analyzers and other non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality management systems.
- Proficient in statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems for quality data management is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (if not already based there).
