Responsibility
- Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Document and report quality control findings, including deviations, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions.
- Perform calibration and maintenance of testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary data and compliance evidence.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and testing equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a 12-hour shift environment, including nights and weekends as required.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
