Responsibility
- Perform Incoming Quality Control (IQC) inspections on raw materials and components to ensure compliance with technical drawings and work orders.
- Conduct In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) checks at various stages of production to identify and mitigate defects.
- Document and report quality deviations, non-conformities, and corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement preventive measures.
- Utilize precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) and testing equipment to verify product dimensions and performance.
- Support the development and revision of quality control procedures, checklists, and inspection criteria.
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure adherence to ISO standards and customer requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality data and recommending process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in manufacturing, automation, or precision engineering environments.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis (RCA), and 8D problem-solving.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality management systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and propose solutions.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
