Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IATF 16949).
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for customer complaints and non-conformities, proposing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, Supply Chain) to enhance product quality and reliability.
- Perform first article inspections (FAI) and incoming/outgoing quality checks for semiconductor materials and components.
- Liaise with global customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure alignment with specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to optimize processes and reduce defects.
- Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
- Support audits (internal/external) and ensure adherence to regulatory and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, or related fields); Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering within semiconductor, electronics, or precision manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, SPC, MSA) and standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Experience with customer-facing quality roles, including complaint handling and CAPA implementation.
- Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication processes (e.g., wafer processing, packaging, testing) is highly advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in MS Office, Minitab, or statistical analysis software.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to fast-changing priorities.
