Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of quality control inspectors to perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on electric vehicles.
- Develop and implement standardized inspection protocols to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Conduct final quality checks on EV units, including functional tests, safety inspections, and cosmetic evaluations.
- Document and report inspection results, identifying defects or non-conformities and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and dealer teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Train and mentor quality control staff on best practices, new technologies, and updated inspection criteria.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all inspections are completed on schedule to meet delivery deadlines without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
- Strong knowledge of EV systems, battery technology, and vehicle safety standards.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and training inspection teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools, diagnostic equipment, and inspection software.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality management systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English and Indonesian, with the ability to write clear and concise reports.
