Responsibility
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including raw material and fresh goods inventory management, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and distribution teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
- Monitor and improve warehouse efficiency, including space utilization, picking/packing processes, and order fulfillment accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards for all incoming and outgoing goods, maintaining product integrity.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance delivery speed, reduce costs, and improve service reliability.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of logistics staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Track KPIs such as on-time delivery rates, inventory turnover, and transportation costs, and report performance metrics to senior management.
- Resolve logistics-related issues promptly, including delays, damages, or discrepancies, with proactive solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics supervision, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or fresh goods distribution.
- Proven track record in managing warehouse operations, inventory control, and transportation logistics.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS) and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments.
- Fluent in English and Indonesian (written and verbal) to liaise with stakeholders and teams.
- Knowledge of Indonesian regulations related to logistics, customs, and transportation is advantageous.
