Responsibility
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify cost-effective suppliers and materials for construction, interior, fit-out, and retail projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and terms to secure the best pricing and service levels.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
- Implement procurement best practices, including sustainable and ethical sourcing strategies.
- Track and report on procurement metrics, such as cost savings, lead times, and supplier performance.
- Assist in the development of procurement policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role, preferably in construction, retail, or project-based industries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software/tools (e.g., ERP systems).
- Knowledge of contract management, tendering processes, and supplier evaluation.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is a plus.
