Responsibility
- Develop and implement agronomic recommendations to optimize palm oil yield and quality.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze data related to soil health, crop growth, and environmental conditions.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of third-party contractors and workers.
- Monitor and report on plantation health, pest control, and disease management.
- Collaborate with the agronomy team to improve cultivation techniques.
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations in all operations.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality control findings and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in palm oil plantation quality control.
- Strong knowledge of agronomic practices and quality assurance protocols.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in remote plantation locations.
- Familiarity with Indonesian agricultural regulations and standards.
- Certification in quality control or agronomy is a plus.
