Responsibility
- Lead and manage daily operations of the layer farm, ensuring efficient production and high-quality output.
- Oversee the health, welfare, and productivity of the poultry flock, implementing best practices in animal husbandry.
- Develop and execute operational strategies to optimize farm performance, reduce costs, and improve profitability.
- Manage and mentor farm staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, health, and safety standards in poultry farming.
- Monitor and analyze farm performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with veterinary and nutrition experts to maintain optimal flock health and feed efficiency.
- Oversee maintenance of farm infrastructure, equipment, and biosecurity protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in poultry farm management, with a focus on layer operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and develop staff.
- In-depth knowledge of poultry health, nutrition, and modern farming techniques.
