Responsibility
- Monitor and manage water distribution systems across palm oil plantations.
- Implement irrigation schedules to optimize water usage and crop health.
- Conduct regular inspections of drainage systems to prevent flooding and erosion.
- Collect and analyze data on water quality, soil moisture, and weather conditions.
- Collaborate with agricultural teams to develop sustainable water management plans.
- Maintain records of water usage, rainfall, and irrigation activities.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of water management infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in water management or agricultural irrigation.
- Knowledge of sustainable water practices and conservation techniques.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and water monitoring tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
