Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Document and report quality control findings, including deviations, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective solutions.
- Perform regular calibration and maintenance of testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality control processes.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control protocols and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to local and international quality regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in using quality control software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, ASQ) is a plus.
