Responsibility
- Conduct rigorous inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, checklists, and documentation in alignment with ISO and industry-specific regulations.
- Identify and report quality deviations, non-conformities, or defects, and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
- Perform statistical analysis and generate quality reports to track performance metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance with certifications and customer requirements.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality standards, best practices, and proper use of inspection tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to enhance quality assurance strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Diploma holders with relevant experience may also apply.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within the manufacturing, automotive, or logistics sectors.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality management systems.
- Proficiency in using quality tools such as SPC (Statistical Process Control), FMEA, 5S, and 8D Problem Solving.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word) and quality management software (e.g., SAP QM, Minitab).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
