Multikarya Saranaperkasa is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) & Welding Inspector (WI) to join our dynamic team in Bali. Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of welding work to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., AWS, ASME, ISO).
- Perform visual, dimensional, and non-destructive testing (NDT) on welded joints and materials.
- Document inspection results, generate reports, and maintain accurate records for audits and compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues.
- Monitor and verify the use of correct welding procedures, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements on-site.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior inspectors and welding teams.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings to review project specifications and quality plans.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Control (QC) or Welding Inspector (WI) in a contracting or manufacturing environment.
- Certification in Welding Inspection (CWI, CSWIP, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and industry standards (AWS, ASME, API).
- Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as VT, PT, MT, UT, or RT.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in using inspection tools and software for reporting.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) with strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Bali and surrounding areas as needed.
